"Martin Varnish Cartel, Louis XV Period"
Cartel and its lamp base Louis XV period, 18th century, Cartel of eventful shape in varnish martin, with a polychrome floral decoration and a pair of doves, all on a green background. It presents a rich ornamentation of finely chiseled gilded bronze rocailles forming leafy scrolls. The dial is enameled white with Arabic and Roman numerals The movement is wire. Beautiful state of conservation. Dimensions: the cartel is 58 cm high and 27 cm wide, its lamp base is 24 cm high and 33 cm wide.
