"Antique Pearls Gold Earrings"
We are presenting an antique pair of 14K Gold earrings full with very small natural seed pearls. Half of the 19th century they came from Sicily in the traditional Poissarde style typical of that period. A very interesting pair of antique earrings nice and light to wear. Despite the age they are in perfect condition. 14K Gold (touchstone tested). Half of the 19th century. From Sycily. An old hallmark is on the hooks. Small natural pearls was fished by Sicilians in the east mediterranean coasts and used also for jewellery since the Middle Age.
