BOIN-TABURET
BOIN-TABURET was founded in Paris in 1860 by Jules BOIN and Joseph TABURET. It is a major player in French goldsmithing, embodying the elegance and refinement of the 19th and 20th centuries. Since its beginnings, the company has combined tradition and innovation to create pieces of exceptional quality, becoming a benchmark in the world of goldsmithing.
The history of BOIN-TABURET began with the association of two craftsmen with a passion for the art of working precious metals. Jules BOIN and Joseph TABURET quickly distinguished themselves through their mastery of classic goldsmithing techniques, such as repoussé, chasing and guilloché. Their expertise enabled them to produce pieces of remarkable finesse, combining motifs inspired by various periods, from the Neo-Renaissance to the Art Nouveau style.
The 1870s and 1880s were a period of great creativity and expansion for the company. BOIN-TABURET's creations are distinguished by their elegance and meticulous attention to detail, leading to international recognition. The company was honoured with numerous awards at World Fairs, including a gold medal at the 1889 Exposition Universelle.
BOIN-TABURET makes important pieces such as complete dinner services in the Louis XIV and especially Louis XV styles, as well as goblets and cups, such as the one made for the Jockey-Club, which won its prize in 1888. Each piece is the result of exceptional craftsmanship, illustrating the company's ability to combine a variety of styles while maintaining impeccable quality and originality.
BOIN-TABURET has had the honour of counting some of the world's leading figures among its customers. European and international royal families have called on its services for pieces of great value and beauty. Numerous governments and prestigious institutions have also selected BOIN-TABURET creations for official events, testifying to the recognition and esteem in which this goldsmith's house is held.
In addition to the international aristocracy, major financiers, interior designers and collectors have acquired BOIN-TABURET pieces. These included the Emperor Napoleon III, the British Royal Family, the Imperial Court of Russia, the King of BULGARIA, the Prince of MONACO, Andy WAHROL, AGA KAHN, the de ROTSCHILD family and the couturier Karl LAGERFELD.
Pieces made by the BOIN-TABURET goldsmith are also to be found in many museum collections around the world.
