"Alabaster Clock, “the Conversation”, Art Deco."
Beautiful and very unusual alabaster clock made around 1930. It represents a man and a woman having a conversation. The degree of realism and the softness given off by these two characters are very interesting. Dial with Roman numerals framed by a crown of roses in gilded bronze with a reminder of the motifs sculpted in alabaster below. Bears a signature on the terrace (to be deciphered). Made in 1930, Art Deco period. Please note: this clock is in good general condition. This clock does not work, the movement is wire, we have a key, the chime and its pendulum. Two old accidents, one on the neck of the young girl and the other on the foot of the man. Please look carefully at the photos.
