"18th Century Blown Glass Vase"
Beautiful size for this blown glass vase, from Spain (Recuenco), from the 18th century. Vase in translucent bubbled glass of pale green color. Body with double bulges at the bottom with eight-edged neck widening towards the top. Four curved side handles in drawn glass net and hot-applied halfway up. Round foot with double concentric ribs. Traces of limestone deposit on the inside. No cracks, no restoration, no loss. Note: a miracle that this vase, which has clearly been used often, is intact! I am attaching a photo of another example kept at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Delivery: €15 for mainland France.
