Kashan prayer-shaped rug, woven in high-quality kork wool, offering a silky and refined texture. Originally from Iran, it dates from the time of the Shah, in the 20th century. This rug is distinguished by its midnight blue field decorated with a scattering of flower petals and birds surrounding a vase in the shape of a diamond cabochon. The whole is highlighted by five borders, the main one, ivory-colored, is decorated with floral boxes. The warps, weft and fringes are made of cotton.
