"Kilim Mut / Anatolia 1930"
Extraordinary kilim from Mut in the Taurus Mountains in southeastern Anatolia. Woven wool on wool in the traditional way. Fine and regular weaving, great art. Magnificent plant shades in perfect harmony, many Abrash. If I had to describe this kilim in one word then without hesitation, I would say "flamboyant". The piece dates from the 1930s Perfect condition Dim: 310 x 147 cm
