Rug from southern Turkey, wool, cotton warp and weft, circa 1960. Very good condition. The stopping points have been restored in our workshop.

Konya is an important center in the making of rugs. This rug has a "prayer" composition. with arches and columns perpetuating the tradition of old rugs. We find different göls (flowers) as well as the eight-pointed star of Medes. A lot of attention in the making of this rug.
