Emmanuel Marcel-Laurent (1892-1948). Painter and watercolourist of landscapes and seascapes, he was particularly attracted to the Breton coast. He was part of the "Concarneau group" before being appointed official painter of the Navy in 1942. His works are exhibited at the Musée de la Marine in Paris and in Brest.
