"Biedermeier Extendable Dining Table, Cherrywood, Ebony, Southwest Germany Circa 1830"
Biedermeier round extending table in cherry from southwest Germany circa 1830. Veneered and solid cherry. Ebonized notch on the perimeter. Original extension mechanism in solid oak. Square tapered legs with inlaid ebony band 3 x 50 cm cherry veneered tops (added during restoration). Fully extended, the table seats approx. 12 people.
Restored and hand-polished with shellac.
