Biedermeier round extending table in cherry from southwest Germany circa 1830. V
eneered and solid cherry. Ebonized notch on the perimeter. Original extension mechanism in solid oak. Square tapered legs with inlaid ebony band 3 x 50 cm cherry veneered tops (added during restoration). Fully extended, the table seats approx. 12 people.
Restored and hand-polished with shellac.
