Dining Table “artona” By Afra And Tobia Scarpa

Dining table “Artona” from 1975 measuring 250 x 70 x 144 cm.  Designed by the designers Tobia and Afra Scarpa and produced by the Italian company Maxalto, known for its predilection for high-end craftsmanship. An incredibly valuable collection, one of the most remarkable of the entire production of the Tobia & Afra Scarpa duo, both for the material used and the innovative shapes: the entire table is made of walnut root.
The table has an oval shape and is fitted with two concrete blocks on which the Maxalto company logo is placed together with a paper documentation. They are intended to be placed inside the table bases to guarantee its stability. The table is designed to be dismantled into several parts, also facilitating its transport.
The state of preservation is good and shows slight wear due to age and use.
