Reliquary Of Saints Agnes And Cecilia – 18th Century

Two glass niches overlook a central medallion where an engraving enhanced with a holy man in prayer is enthroned surrounded by a fine assembly of gold canetilles and white pearls, Saint Charles Borromeo watches over relics. Indeed, our monstrance in carved and gilded wood receives important ones.
These are bagged ex-ossibus relics of Saint Agnes and Saint Cecilia, united in their Faith and their fatal destiny.
Saint Agnes of Rome, Virgin was Martyred in 305 Saint Cecilia of Rome and Virgin also, was martyred in 230
On the back is a series of eleven episcopal wax seals guaranteeing the authenticity of the relics presented.
