Ulisse CAPUTO (1872-1948) Aix en Provence, the bridge of Saint-Pons, oil on canvas, 50 x 65 cm, signed lower left.
Ulisse Caputo, of Neapolitan origin, came to Aix for several years to spend the summer. He became friends with Joseph Ravaisou, a painter from Aix. The Caputos settled in several places in the Aix countryside during their many stays. They stayed for a while in Cézanne's studio in Lauves.
