Marking on left side slide: BROWNING'S PATENT COLT'S PATENT FIRE ARMS MFG. C° PATD APRIL 20. 1897 HARTFORD. CONN U. S. A. and numbered: 375 ;
Marking on right-hand slide: AUTOMATIC COLT CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS.
K-punched trigger guard.
Original 98% bright blue finish.
Finely checkered walnut stock plates (internal crack on one). 
Magazine marked PAT'D SEPT. 9.1894
