A historical souvenir not very common this medallion representing this young Napoleon II. Made of hardened wood, an amalgam of sawdust, ox blood and shellac among other things. Pressed under very high tension. This is the same process and material as for the production of black photo frames from the same period of which you will also find some examples in my gallery.
