Dimensions: 66.2 x 36 cm Frame dimensions: 85 x 50 cm Victor Servranckx born June 26, 1897 in Diegem and died December 11, 1965 in Vilvoorde is a Belgian painter. A pioneer of the pictorial avant-garde in Belgium, he is one of the only Belgian artists who distinguished himself in abstract art until his death. He also created abstract sculptures at the beginning of his career and worked as an architect for a few years. From 1922, René Magritte worked with him on the creation of wallpaper patterns.
