"Senoufo Maternity, Ivory Coast."
Large Senoufo sculpture about 58 cm high, the object is carved in hard wood with a beautiful patina of use and time, the style is perfect very characteristic of the ethnic group. This statue comes from the collection of Mr P. Fougerouse (famous rally raid car driver including the Paris Dakar in the 1970s to 85), a remarkable collection of objects from West Africa for the most part.
