Solid silver table mirror with acanthus decoration, it rests on 2 scrolled feet. The back is in mahogany. Stains visible on the glass. Mercury mirror. 19th century. Good general condition. Dimensions: height: 51 cm width: 45.5 cm depth: 33 cm French jeweler, jeweler and goldsmith, brother of Louis Aucoc of the Aucoc house founded in 1821. He received a gold medal at the 1889 Universal Exhibition and then a grand prize at the 1900 Universal Exhibition1. In 1900, he received the Legion of Honor.
