Beautiful, bright and finely detailed work by the Montpellier painter Henri Bésiné which represents a view of the city of Aigues-Mortes with its ramparts and its pond.
With his small touches, the artist has perfectly transcribed the vegetation at the edge of the pond and the play of light on the ramparts.
We can also distinguish in the work the reflections of the ramparts in the pond.
