Christ is no more. At the foot of the Cross, Mary, Magdalene and John, His beloved disciple, the only apostle of that moment, mourn him.
Afflicted and with his hand on his heart, John protects the Virgin with his hand "because it was at that time that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was entrusted to him" John 19, 27. Our three Holy figures are planted on a volute base.

Used condition, note partial loss of paint, small gaps, stuck fingers, on the back old inactive woodworm holes
