Terracotta bust representing Bacchus by the famous sculptor André Cavacos. Our sculpture is signed Cavacos for André Cavacos who was a well-known figure in the Paris art colony at the beginning of the 20th century. He was notably commissioned to make the portraits of a certain number of notable citizens, such as Mistinguett, Bucot and Marcelle Ragnon. In 1925, Cavacos received the silver medal at the famous International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris. Our bust is in perfect condition. Circa 1930.
