"Large Vase Signed Daum In Purple Glass From The Art Deco Period Circa 1930"
Large purple glass vase, with 8 sides decorated with geometric patterns etched with acid.The vase rests on a circular pedestal from which the 8 sides are drawn to join 3 decreasing steps, ending with a flared neck continuing the cut sides. Each side of the vase is decorated with a band of superimposed diamonds with a strong acid-etched decoration.
The central motif is itself underlined on both sides by a groove etched with acid.
This vase is remarkable both for its color - rare - and for its very typical "Art-Deco" shape.
It has no chips.
