The green marble base is adorned with gilded bronze applications with a floral motif and rests on circular feet also in bronze.
The main façade is characterized by the two cherubs with trumpets and the large sculpture at the top depicting the winged victory.
In the composition, very harmonious despite the richness of elements, it is traditionally represented as a young and beautiful woman, holding a vine in her hand and a trumpet in her mouth.
The gilding is of the galvanic type.
Galvanic Gilding: The discovery of the galvanic technique began in 1791 when Luigi Galvani discovered the electric fluid, which is why all electrolysis processes are called electroplating which derives from his surname Galvani.
Galvanic gilding is in fact a type of electrochemical process in the so-called galvanic bath, a thin layer of gold is made to adhere to a metal using the electric current.
This current transports positively charged gold ions and adheres to the metal which instead has a negative charge. The result is that a uniform and thin layer is deposited.
