He is the architect of castles, private mansions, the Sèvres factory and official buildings. He creates a facade and the hemicycle of the Palais Bourbon. Chief architect of the Tuileries Palace, he ensures its restoration and development for the First Consul. He then restored the Élysée Palace, various castles, private mansions and residences in France and the Kingdom of Naples.
