"Tapestry From The Royal Aubusson Manufactory | Verdure 18th Century | L 260xh177, No. 1436"
This Tapestry Was Cleaned By The Artisan Workshop Galerie Lissier The style: The tapestry seems to belong to a rocaille or Louis XV style, characterized by curved shapes, floral patterns and pastel colors. The elements represented: We see a bucolic landscape with fruit trees, birds and a village in the distance. A red cloth draped over a branch adds a touch of color and movement. The techniques: The tapestry is made with great finesse, the details are neat and the colors are bright. The weaving techniques used are probably complex and require significant craftsmanship.
