"Portrait Of A Woman, Watercolor By Tito Perlotto, 1843"
Tito Perlotto began to practice painting with the support of Venetian patrician families and then enrolled at the Academy of Florence, a pupil of Benvenuti. He won prizes and then moved to London where he produced watercolor portraits. Returning to Italy around 1820, he settled in Vicenza. After 1839 he stayed in various Italian cities and traveled abroad. An album of his portraits was exhibited at the Ca Pesaro in Venice in January 2024. Our work dated 1843 is therefore an Italian work, no information on the person represented.
