Object description :

"Paris 1855-1886 – Set Of 6 Sterling Silver Teaspoons By E. Bunet"
Beautiful set of 6 teaspoons or dessert spoons by master goldsmith Ernest BUNET. These spoons have a beautiful decoration called "fillet" with a fairly strong and well-chiseled filet. The spoon ends in an elegant pointed spout. They have the discreet little monogram BM where the stem and the spatula meet.

Hallmarks
•    Minerva 1st title (solid silver 950/1000).
•    Master goldsmith: E.BUNET, for Ernest BUNNET (1855-1886).

Dimensions
•    Length: 14 cm.
•    Width: 2.8 cm.
•    Length of the spoon: approximately 4.9 cm.

Weight: 100 grams.

Some scratches from use but good general condition. Beautiful shine difficult to reproduce in shots while having retained the patina of time.
Interesting model which directly captures, in the elegant sobriety and down to the detail of the small monogram, the spirit of 18th century goldsmithing.
