Superb pair of very large castle candelabra in gilded bronze and grey turquin marble. These palatial-style candelabra are of very high quality, the alternation of grey turquin marble and varnished gilded bronze is very successful and will bring a chic and precious side to your interior. On a molded marble base and a bronze base with lion's muzzles, the candelabra rises presenting 6 lights on each piece with dragons on either side of the central shaft. The gilding was cleaned by the previous owners and a varnish seems to have been applied to the bronze to protect it from oxidation. These candelabra are impressive and very decorative. The fixings of the elements on the shafts are different from one candlestick to another. Weight approx. 18 kg each. Napoleon III period around 1860.
