Huge and spectacular solid silver tray in rectangular shape, border with contoured threads and rocaille clasps. Magnificent leafy scroll handles with Mascaron in their center. Bottom of the tray chiseled in frame of laurel garlands suspended among others from shells. Masterfully crafted from the highest quality silver, it is punched with the Minerva 1st Standard (.950) and mark of Master Goldsmith Martial GAUTHIER (Hallmark with the initials "MG", a star and a Greek cross on each side) in practice from 1882 to 1902. This huge and spectacular tray (over 3.4 kg!) is in excellent condition, also revised and cleaned by our Goldsmith, with just light signs of use to note.
