Rare Louis Philippe Neapolitan mirror from the mid-1800s in gilded and carved wood.

The particular concave convex shape ends with a finely carved rocailles motif cymatium.

The 24kt gold leaf gilding is placed on a layer of bole substance used as a base on which to place the gold leaf.

The mercury mirror is original from the period.

Origin: Naples 19th century.
