EXCEPTIONAL SET OF 4 HUGE CURTAINS FORMING TWO PAIRS RED PRINTED AT THE VERY EARLY 19TH CENTURY (CIRCA 1803) IN TOILE DE JOUY EN JOSAS FROM THE OBERKAMPF MANUFACTURER AND ILLUSTRATED BY JEAN BAPTISTE HUET. PLATE DECORATION OF VENUS IN MEDALLION AND CUPID, FRUIT, APPLE, MUSICAL INSTRUMENT. THESE 4 CURTAINS ARE ALL PERIOD LINED (THE LINING HAS SOME DIRT). VERY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION, SOME SMALL STAINS NOT SIGNIFICANT IN RELATION TO THE SIZE OF THE PRINT (SEE PHOTO). EACH CURTAIN IN 2, NO HOLES AND BEAUTIFUL COLOR. FOUND IN THE ATTIC OF A BEAUTIFUL MEDOC PROPERTY.
