Rare Satsuma earthenware vase with raised dog heads on the rim.Finely decorated with floral motifs with fruits using polychrome enamels in slight relief.
Attributed to the work of Makuzu Kozan who produced vases with very similar decorations.
Meiji period (1868 - 1912), circa 1880.
Height: 27.5 cm
