BRONZE-REGENCE-LIGHT WALL LIGHTS ONE LIGHT CHISELED GILT BRONZE FRANCE EARLY 19TH CENTURY Beautiful pair of single-light wall lights in chiseled and gilded bronze, Regency style, early 19th century. The plates are decorated with a female mascaron at the top, framed by quivers of arrows, a laurel necklace hanging from the neck. Two cherubs' heads inscribed as caryatids. Lambrequins, garlands of foliage, ribbons, shells, palmettes and fleurs-de-lis make up the rest of the decoration. The light arms are decorated with stylized flowers and foliage, rosettes and festoons. Binets decorated with gadroons and cups with underlying decoration of fleurs-de-lis and geometric motifs.
