Thérèse GUÉRIN (1861-1933) Lyon school "Porcelain and yellow roses" Oil on canvas 38 x 46 cm Born in 1861 in Lyon, died in 1933. Thérèse Guérin was a student of Jules Médard and André Perrachon, and the founder of a studio exclusively reserved for women artists. She exhibited regularly from 1886 at the Salons of Paris and Lyon and obtained a second class medal in 1908. Guérin specialized in flowers and fruits (Roses and Cherries).
