"Ewer, Called Helmet, Plated Metal, Silver, Louis XIV"
Beautiful and large helmet ewer in silver-plated metal from the Louis XIV period. It dates from the end of the 17th or the beginning of the 18th century. It rests on a round foot molded with fillets, the body is plain underlined with a strong rush, the handle in the shape of a crosier is with windings. The foot unscrews. Height 27 cm. Condition, good, good capacity. It was formerly re-silvered and it has a beautiful patina. It can be used, it holds water.
