LOUIS XVI chest of drawers stamped by Jacques BIRCKLE received Master on JULY 30, 1764, one of the suppliers of the furniture store of the crown under LOUIS XVI. Rectangular in shape with a central projection on the front, it is in rosewood, amaranth and satinwood veneer with double fillet in the frame. It opens with 5 drawers on 3 rows framed by rounded uprights with simulated fluting. Tapered legs with gilded bronze ornamentation. Period veined gray marble top.
