An excellent quality and good condition study of the young Lady Howard, daughter of Frederick Howard, Earl of Carlisle, wearing a large white headdress and black cloak. Housed in an antique gilt frame. The work is a variation of a work commissioned by Frederick Howard from Reynolds in 1778 and hung at Castle Howard.
