Elegant and timeless freestanding modular teak bookcase from the late 1960s. Origin Italy. Similar to the work "La Permanente Mobili Cantù" in Milan. Three-bay model comprising 4 units including 1 drop-leaf desk that can be used as a bar, 2 cupboards with 2 doors (middle shelves), 1 cupboard with 4 drawers and 1 door and finally 6 open shelves. Interchangeable modular elements screwed into the supports (see photo: brass screws). Slender polygonal uprights with coved molding and openwork triangular legs with adjustable brass feet. The bookcase can be used as a middle unit / central divider. Teak veneer. Very slight signs of use. Very good condition. Dimensions of the units: 78 x 40 cm.
