The month of Germinal, according to the republican calendar commissioned from the painter Louis Lafitte in 1796 and popularized by the engravings of Salvatore Tresca.Painting on ceramic tile. Very good condition, minor wear.
The month of Germinal corresponds roughly to the month of March. The engraving by S. Tresca was accompanied by these verses:
