Louis XVI style Bargueno cabinet secretary in precious wood cubes marquetry circa 1900-1920. Walnut, rosewood, maple, rosewood, mahogany, burl, blackened wood and other fruit woods. Console base topped with a drawer in a false appearance of a projection. 1 flap opening onto 1 interior complete with 8 small drawers, an open compartment and a large secret compartment. The flap decoration represents a portrait of an elegant woman in a ribboned medallion. The whole rests on 4 feet in the shape of an inverted pyramid. Measurements: H 111 x W 81 x D 46 cm
