"Milo Vojic (1923-2004), The Dance, Ink and Gouache On Paper, Signed with the Monogram, circa 1950" Framed under glass. Born in Serbia in 1923, Milo VOJIC studied in Belgrade at the Academy of Fine Arts. Interrupted during the Second World War, he resumed them before leaving Yugoslavia in 1949 to settle in the South of France. He painted and exhibited in the South, near Cannes where he settled. There he founded an association of artists from Cannes and the Côte d'Azur, under the name of Michel Vojic. He was friends and exhibited during this period with Hans Hartung, Armand and César, Henri Goetz. He died in 2004 on the Côte d'Azur. His ink work is very modern, very influenced by Matisse and Picasso in drawing.
