A pair of very decorative paintings depicting two bouquets of Tulips, Anemones, Carnations, Irises, Roses, and Hydrangeas arranged in two vases, placed on their entablature. Northern School of the 18th century, in the style of the late 17th century. Original stretcher and canvases.
A very decorative pair of paintings, in gilded wooden frames.
In very good overall condition, with an excellent aesthetic appearance. Despite a few minor imperfections and superficial wear inherent to its age, the work retains all its beauty and visual integrity. A close examination reveals some traces of restoration. An attempt at corrosive cleaning has damaged one flower (see the last photo). It is very discreet. The dark green paint on some of the leaves has darkened more than others over time.
