Rocaille Bedroom Furniture In Carved Walnut Stamped Bardié In Bordeaux

Armand Bardié, famous Bordeaux cabinetmaker from the end of the 19th century, died in 1926.

Magnificent Louis XV Rocaille style bedroom furniture in very richly carved solid walnut, consisting of:
- a large basket bed for 160x200 bedding (very rare for an antique bed!)
- an oblong bedside table, sea green marble top, opening a drawer and a door
- a dressing table / chest of drawers with beveled mirror and two drawers in the upper part, sea green marble top, in the lower part a large drawer and two doors revealing a beautiful interior with three English drawers veneered in lemon tree.

Work from the end of the 19th century or very early 20th century stamped with iron from the Bardié house in Bordeaux (locks also engraved Bardié in Bordeaux)
