"Small Transition Chest Of Drawers 18th Century"
Elegant small transitional chest of drawers called "sauteuse" in marquetry of rosewood, violet wood and satinwood. It opens with two drawers on the front, without a crosspiece, and has a decoration of stylized musical instruments and ribbons. The uprights with cut sides inlaid in imitation of fluting end with an LXV base decorated with bronze sabots. Slight projection on the rear uprights. It is topped with its original gray Ste-Anne marble with grooves. The frame and the depths are in oak. Beautiful period bronze decoration. Parisian work from the 18th century.
