This large sculpture of a young peasant woman picking flowers near a fence is made of spelter and is signed A. de Ranieri. This sculptor, born in Carrara in Italy, mainly lived and worked in Paris. Based on rue Vercingétorix in the capital, he mainly worked on works in the Art Nouveau style. After the war of 1914, he worked on commemorative monuments at the request of the French state.
