Jean-Jacques Berne-Bellecour (1874–1939), Born August 14, 1874 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Seine-et-Oise). Painter of military landscape subjects. Son and student of Étienne Berne-Bellecour. He also had Gérôme and Édouard Detaille as teachers, who guided him towards painting military subjects. He exhibited regularly at the Salon des artistes français and became a member. Many military and political figures of the time owned his paintings: General Pershing, Clemenceau, etc.
