"Ink And Watercolor Drawing In The Venetian Style "
Interesting ink drawing enhanced with watercolor, in the Venetian style of the end of the 18th century, representing a motley assembly of old men in conversation, a young man in the foreground playing the guitar, a bare-assed kid, as starving as the dog who accompanies him. Strange mixture which must certainly be part of a tale whose plot we do not know. The watermark of the chiffon paper seems at the earliest end of the 19th century, and we see a dry stamp in the right corner representing the abduction of Ganymede by Zeus disguised as an eagle. Perhaps a collector's stamp. It is elegantly framed with a taupe passe, and a black 19th century baguette. (as is) The drawing is clean, and fresh in color. It is framed in
