Very beautiful and rare model of Louis XIII wardrobe from the end of the 17th century-beginning of the 18th century, in solid walnut and composed of three superimposed parts. The lower part rests on four ball feet of a strong width, they are surmounted by a strong molding. This part opens on the front by a large transverse drawer equipped with two wrought iron pull handles and a lock using the same key as the two doors. It is framed by two small consoles with foliate decoration. A molding work allows to hold the central part when it is positioned. The second part, main part, opens by two large leaves each divided into three panels decorated with strong diamond points and framed by thick moldings. Its two sides are each decorated with two equal parts composed of thick panels in flat band and contained in frames with strong moldings. They are also separated by an entablature rod. The interior is equipped with three shelves. The third part composed of the pediment and the cornice covers the other two parts.
