Former name of the city of Sanandaj, the city of Senneh is located in Iranian Kurdistan and is renowned for its knotted rugs. Senneh kilims are also very popular with lovers of authentic rugs. The work is very refined both in the technique of production and in the designs that have been perpetuated over the generations.

Traditional Senneh rug in zaronim format with copper tones using the 'mahi' pattern. The weavers who made this rug mastered an ancient tradition that can be found on 19th century Senneh rugs.
