Pair of Louis XV candlesticks in solid silver, hallmarked Fermiers Généraux de Rennes (crowned D 1748), goldsmith most likely Jean Loison (1744-1785), socket and shaft with cut sides, mounted on a hexagonal base with moldings and contours, from the mid-18th century. These candlesticks are in good condition and are of exceptional quality. Hallmarked on the inside of the sockets (hard to photograph) and swan hallmark on the foot. Please note: traces of restoration, shock on the edge of a foot (see red arrow), some scratches and wear from time, see photos.
